How It Started

Born out of a simple intention, to spread cheer during the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic – THC (The Himalayan Chocolate) began as a small, heartfelt initiative.

At a time when livelihoods were disrupted and communities in the Himalayan region faced uncertainty, the idea was clear:
create something meaningful that brings joy while creating impact.

What started as handcrafted dark chocolate bars soon evolved into a purpose-driven brand, infusing chocolate with indigenous Himalayan nuts, fruits, and condiments that not only elevate taste but tell a story of the region.

THC today stands as a homegrown social enterprise, rooted in craftsmanship, culture, and community.

At the heart of THC are the women who bring it to life.

We work closely with skilled women from the villages of Kullu–Manali, many of whose households were impacted during the pandemic. By training them in chocolate-making and involving them in every step of the process, we create sustainable livelihood opportunities.

We don’t believe in rushing production.
We work at the pace, creativity, and comfort of our artisans, ensuring every product reflects not just quality, but dignity and care.
